Three Penny Opera
The booklet accompanying the play: The Threepenny Opera, is intended to give the viewer an indication of the margin between rich and poor without expressing it in words. As a specific reference, the coronation of Queen Victoria, which runs through the piece with little hints, is used as an overall subject for the accompanying booklet. In this way, two contrasting sides (poverty, wealth) are built up in the book. These parts are differentiated from one another via font, typesetting, color and image.
